In 1968 to early 1970 Elvis would wear extremely flashy two piece suits. But during shows Elvis would do a move or stand a current way and his paints would rip Elvis got the idea to wear a karate gee on stage. the reason for the gee is because it would breath better then his suits and it wouldn't rip. After awhile he changed his karate gee in for a jumpsuit. These jumpsuits where fitted with jewels a cape and a belt buckle all of this made Elvis look like a King.
The jump suits lasted all the way up until his death. The jumpsuit where a key part of Elvis's act. The idea behind the jumpsuit inspired ofter artistes to do the same. lThis led to many other artist to follow suit this influenced Neil diamond, Mick Jagger, The Who, James brown, Katy perry Freddie Mercury, Britney Spears, Pink, to wear jumpsuits on stage. At graceland there is an exhibit dedicated towerds how elvis influenced artistes of today.
